Whispers of the Lake: A Moment Frozen in Time

There are moments in life that feel like poetry—silent yet deeply expressive. When I capture scenes like this, I feel an unexplainable joy, a kind of peace that words often fail to describe. Photography, for me, is not just about taking pictures; it’s about freezing emotions, preserving beauty, and finding meaning in the simplest things.

Dal Lake, with its vast expanse of still waters, reflects more than just the sky—it mirrors the soul of Kashmir. The lone shikara, floating effortlessly, carries not just people but countless untold stories. Stories of travelers lost in thought, of locals whose lives are intertwined with these waters, of moments that might seem ordinary but hold extraordinary emotions.

The mist-covered mountains in the distance stand like silent guardians, whispering tales of time, resilience, and change. The sky, painted in shades of blue and white, adds to the dreamlike tranquility. It’s a scene that makes you pause, breathe, and appreciate life just a little more.

We meet different kinds of people in our lives, yet we often fail to value them. It’s only when they are no longer with us that we truly understand their worth. The same is true for moments—we rush through life, unaware of the beauty around us, until one day, we look back and realize what we missed.

Maybe that’s why photography makes me happy. It allows me to hold onto these fleeting moments, to find stillness in the rush of life, and to remind myself that beauty isn’t always loud—it often exists in the quietest corners of the world. And sometimes, all we need to do is stop, look, and feel.

The Great Biochem Catch-Up: Notes, Naps & Midnight Lectures

So here we are again. That time of the semester when every student magically transforms into a scholar, philosopher, and full-time note-maker — all in one week . Yes, my exams are just 6 days away. And no, I don’t have proper notes yet. Why? Because for some reason, I believed that future me would handle it all. Spoiler: he’s not handling it very well. Chapter 1: Notes? Haan haan... kal banayenge. Let’s be honest — all semester, I sat in class with the look of deep concentration. Like I'm decoding some genius-level science. In reality, I was either sleepy, daydreaming, or mentally writing my next blog. I’d look at slides and think, "I'll make the notes later. Pakka." That “later” finally knocks on my door when the exam timetable arrives like a horror movie jump scare. Chapter 2: The Pen Panic Begins The moment I hear "exam after 6 days," I suddenly remember every unit I ignored. I open my biochemistry book with shaky hands and whisper to my...
