Hey, I'm Yawar Nabi — a biochemistry student from Kashmir, and the person behind The Yawar Chronicles.
I started this blog as a simple space to write. Not to impress anyone, not to follow a trend — just to put honest thoughts into words. Over time, it grew into something I genuinely care about. A place where I write about life as I'm living it — the confusion of growing up, the beauty of where I come from, the pressure of exams, the weight of time passing, and the small moments that somehow mean everything.
I'm also a photographer, and some of that finds its way here too. Kashmir has a way of making you want to capture things before they change — the Chinar trees in autumn, the quiet of a shrine tucked between old walls, the light on a winter morning. I try to do that, both with a camera and with words.
Alongside this blog, I run a YouTube channel where I record biochemistry lectures, because I believe learning should be shared, not hoarded.
The Yawar Chronicles is my attempt to be real on the internet — which is harder than it sounds. If something I've written has made you think, or feel less alone in what you're going through, then this blog is doing exactly what it's supposed to.
Feel free to reach out through the Contact page — I'd genuinely love to hear from you.
— Yawar
